If the definition of public affairs is advocacy communications, then Trish is the consummate professional, combining roles in both public relations and government affairs with high-profile corporations.
Trish serves as a government and media relations consultant for RH Strategic's client Digimarc, a client that reaps the benefits of her areas of specialty, which include homeland security, digital music, and the Internet. With 20 years' experience in public affairs, Trish knows how to read political situations quickly and advise clients on what will or won't work in light of them.
Prior to RH Strategic, Trish was a senior consultant for the high-tech public affairs firm Washington Resource Associates, where she helped market the company and raise its profile. Before that Trish was recruited to re-open and head the government affairs office of Lucent Technologies, which had been absent from Washington, D.C. for three years. Trish took the function from start-up to fully functioning office and helped re-position the company with key D.C. stakeholders.
Trish's impressive resume also includes key public policy positions with companies such as Telcordia Technologies, where she served as chief policy lobbyist, and Verizon Communications, where she was a corporate spokesperson for public policy issues.
Trish finds the best way to start any morning is with a yoga class followed by a good cup of coffee. She's renewed by a weekend at the Jersey shore with her husband, Mike, and kids, Alison and Alexander.
