We’re thrilled to welcome seasoned PR pros Matthew Mors and Hally Wax to the RH Strategic team! Matthew and Hally co-founded the recently acquired PR firm MIX Public Relations and now join us as senior vice presidents and co-leads of RH Strategic’s B2B Technology Practice. They also bring with them a talented team of RHockstars with collective decades of expertise in PR for businesses working in emerging technology, cybersecurity and B2B tech.
We got to know Matthew and Hally and see their PR skills firsthand while working closely with them and their team for almost a year. We quickly found synergies in strategic and results-driven approaches that brought immediate value to our cross-functional client teams. We decided to combine forces to deepen our agency’s existing knowledge of cybersecurity and B2B tech. This will enable us to achieve even more exceptional results for clients. We could not be happier to call Matthew, Hally and the MIX team true RHockstars!
Meet Matthew and Hally:
Prior to co-founding MIX Public Relations, Matthew helped lead Text 100’s successful financial services and security sector practice areas. He accelerated his career in PR for emerging tech and cybersecurity by taking a “hands-on” approach to learning the principles and practices of clients in those industries. In 2018, he was honored with the Agency “Awe” Professional Award in the PR News Agency Elite Awards and recognized by peers as a PR News Data Dynamo laureate for pioneering new methodologies using data analysis within a communications team to develop impactful public relations campaigns.
In recognition of his expertise, Matthew has been invited to advise or lecture on strategy, marketing and PR at three global universities, as well as worked with early stage entrepreneurs in Tanzania to develop strategic marketing initiatives as a Technoserve Volunteer Consultant through a program with Google’s philanthropic arm, Google.org. He has earned certifications in Master’s Level Social Engineering (MLSE) and Social Engineering for Penetration-Testing Professionals (SEPP), now known as Advanced Practical Social Engineering (APSE), and has demonstrated proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Kali Linux, Maltego and Metasploit.
Prior to co-founding MIX Public Relations, Hally co-led Text 100’s security sector team, which supported the agency’s top security accounts, including Corillian (now Fiserv), the PCI Security Standards Council and Websense. In 2018, she was named one of the PR Women of the Year by PR News. She has more than 18 years of experience working with companies in the fields of financial services, IT security, healthcare, augmented reality, IoT, mobile/wireless management and virtualization. Her PR experience includes mergers and acquisitions, organizational rebrands, crisis communications, high-profile product launches, and vertical market programs, as well as high-impact business media and analyst relations.
Known for her ability to solve tough business problems, Hally continually nets greater share of voice and leadership visibility for her clients by providing strategic counsel and support. She has helped both well-known and lesser-known players gain relevance and leadership in the complex fields of retail banking, authentication, financial markets, data security, web filtering, ID theft prevention, international security standards and biometrics.
