As National Intern Day celebrates the next generation of professionals, we’re proud to recognize the members of RH Strategic’s 2026 Fellowship Program. This program offers a unique opportunity for early-career communications professionals to take on meaningful client work, learn alongside experienced mentors and gain a firsthand understanding of agency life. Our fellows are offering fresh perspectives, embracing new challenges and contributing to work across RH’s client portfolio.
Today, we’re celebrating the newest members of our team and the experiences, ideas and enthusiasm they bring to RH.
RH Strategic 2026 Fellowship Class
Morgan Haynes joins RH ready to expand her knowledge in client service and digital media. When she joined an account outside her background early on, her instinct was to dig in rather than hesitate, and that same adaptability is what she’s leaning on as she builds confidence across every new challenge. She’s also working on learning to differentiate voice and tone across the range of industries she’s now supporting. Outside of work, she’s the proud owner of Oakley, her one-year-old cocker spaniel with a permanent case of floppy ears and main-character energy.
“Whatever gets handed to me, I want to dig in and figure it out. That’s the opportunity I’m looking for, and that’s how I grow.”
Whitney Byard is passionate about media relations, with a particular interest in digital strategy and copywriting. Her path to PR started with a small tea business she ran in college, building the website, managing the social content and growing the customer base herself, and discovering along the way that she loved the storytelling and connection more than running the operations. As she begins her career, she’s looking forward to sharpening her pitching skills and learning how to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment. Outside of work, she’s a self-described “serial hobbyist” who splits her time between crochet, tennis and walking her two dogs.
“By the end of this fellowship, I want to know a little bit about a lot of things. I want to figure out what I like, what I don’t, and keep feeding into what I do.”
Olivia Marty’s interest in storytelling took root early. As a middle school Senate page, she got a firsthand look at how complicated decisions affect real people, an experience that eventually pointed her toward communications and, in college, an induction into Kappa Tau Alpha, the journalism and communications honor society reserved for the top ten percent of the program. At RH, her focus on digital strategy and visual storytelling is helping her explore how communication approaches shift across channels and industries, and she’s hoping to grow her independence and confidence with every project. Outside of work, she’s an avid home cook with a particular love of Vietnamese food and a longtime collector of nutcrackers.
“Finding a place that genuinely wanted to teach, and that emphasized everyone can do meaningful work, was incredibly appealing. It also feels pretty rare.”
Grace Jefferson’s path to communications ran through political science and internships on Capitol Hill and on a political campaign, where she learned that the part of the job she loved most was translating complicated topics into language people could actually use. That skill is now positioning her to strengthen her writing and research across industries at RH, and she’s especially drawn to learning more about nonprofit communications and women’s health. Grace joined RH because she wanted a place that would invest in her professional development, and she hopes to become a teammate her colleagues can always count on. She moved to Seattle in part because a single visit to the University of Washington library convinced her it was time for something new, and she’s since been slowly working her way through the region’s hiking trails.
“I wanted to start my career somewhere that would help me build confidence and develop my skills from day one.”

Four different paths led these fellows to RH, but the same instinct brought them here: a place that would invest in their growth from day one, not just hand them coffee runs. That’s what this program is built to deliver, and it’s why we keep building it.
