Washington’s life sciences sector was booming—but that didn’t guarantee visibility on the national stage. Competing with better-known markets like Boston and the Bay Area, Life Science Washington needed a smarter way to help member companies stand out and recruit the talent fueling their growth.
A growing need, a digital approach
RH Strategic built a digital-first recruitment engine designed to do more than attract attention—it converted interest into action. At its core was a custom microsite, built for discoverability and optimized to showcase the region’s unique value: a convergence of career opportunity, innovation, and quality of life. To amplify the effort, RH created a suite of co-branded content in partnership with member companies like Pfizer and Bristol Myers Squibb. Day-in-the-life stories, employee profiles and audiograms gave the campaign emotional resonance and shareability—driving reach through organic enthusiasm and peer-to-peer credibility.
Turning targeted clicks into top candidates
As momentum grew, RH used performance data to expand the strategy, uncovering untapped audiences like early-career professionals already living in Washington. Targeted LinkedIn campaigns followed. The result? A full-scale ecosystem where infrastructure, insight, and storytelling worked in concert. Traffic to the LSW careers page surged, as did Linkedin engagement. RH Strategic’s work contributed to a sector job growth increase of 14% statewide (with a 25% gain in Seattle).
