As communicators, we are constantly taking in a tremendous amount of information. We are always processing new best practices, new story-telling tactics and the ever-changing swirl of the media landscape. We work diligently to help our clients and partners tell amazing stories and reach their key audiences.
But sharing the process of how we do that has been a challenge. Which is why we are rolling out the RH Strategic Field Notes newsletter.
The first issue is live today and you can sign up now to make sure you are on the list to receive future editions.
Our aim is to highlight our perspectives as professional communicators on the top issues facing organizations and their leaders today. We also want to share the successes we’re achieving so that others can see what’s possible, copy them, or suggest ways we can do things differently. We have a diverse set of expertise here at RH Strategic and we’re excited to share our thoughts on digital storytelling, media relations, social media strategies and public affairs.
What’s inside?
In our first issue, we explore the concept of “Techlash,” the backlash against technology companies from consumers based on a real or perceived violation of trust. Being able to protect against a significant crisis like a data breach or consumer backlash comes down to doing the right thing and being proactive.
We also will be bringing you into the inner workings of RH Strategic by sharing the personal knowledge of our domain experts like this feature on Trish Rimo, a VP in our Washington, D.C. office who heads our cyber security practice. You can read her insight here.
And the Field Notes newsletter gives great insights into the topics, articles and research we’re paying attention to, which we share through briefs, tips and tricks.
You can subscribe to RH Strategic Field Notes here. And be sure to follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook for real-time updates from our team.
We don’t want to throw out marketing fluff – we honestly want to contribute to the dialogue. I’m interested to hear what you think about our first attempt and what topics we should be covering in the future. You can email me at john@rhstrategic.com to let me know directly. I would be grateful for the feedback.
