Emily Field drives PR strategy for education, healthcare and technology clients focused on making long-lasting change across industries.

A Bay Area native, Emily combines her deep knowledge of the innovation economy and her passion for policy to synthesize complex issues into messaging that drives measurable value. She is laser focused on driving impact for her clients during crucial moments, from appropriations cycles to mergers to crisis situations, and her work has elevated clients on the national stage as subject-matter experts on emerging issues.

Emily’s mastery of the media landscape helps her spearhead data-driven campaigns with national, regional, and local reach. She also helps lead the firm’s higher education new business efforts, devising creative solutions and proposals for prospective clients.

After graduating with a B.A. in Political Science and Communication from Tulane University, Emily began to build her background in policy communications and public affairs. Prior to joining RH Strategic, Emily worked in Public and Corporate Affairs at Ketchum in Washington, D.C.

  • Planned and executed a comprehensive crisis and reputation management strategy to guide a major health insurer’s COVID-19 strategy to foster employee retention and promote public health.
  • Effectively training top research leaders and executives on how to thoughtfully engage with media and create meaningful public brand profiles.
